The ends of the trunks are discolored by thrips insects.
The trunks may also present this strong chlorosis especially when they are young.
The flowers of this hybrid are very attacked by thrips insects. The edges of the petals are partially deformated by these insects. When the attack is intense the petals are insignificant.
